Multimedia installations examining the “seductive power” of technology in art and culture.

1997 multimedia art exhibition at The Cooper Union curated by Robert Rindler and Deborah Willis, which featured works from forty artists exploring the alluring, often unsettling relationship between humans and technology. The term also appears in music contexts, including compilations and mixes, and relates to “technosexuality,” a field studying digital, simulated, and robotic sexual experiences.
